The differences of weather between Guangzhou and Urbana
Thesis statement: In terms of wind, appearance of snow,amount of rain and sunshine, there are obvious differences between weather in Guangzhou,my hometown, and Urbana,the city I study in.
Topic sentences:1.The wind in Urbana is stronger than that in Guangzhou.
Supporting detail:The mild wind in Guangzhou makes it enjoyable to walk on the street, just like other southern cities in China, while the strong wind in Urbana annoys us.
2.No snowy weather can be seen in Guangzhou ,but Urbana is covered with snow for more than three months every year.
Supporting detail:Guangzhou is located on the Tropic of Cancer,which means the climic is warm and can be about 10 degrees Celsius.Urbana is in the North of America and of course very cold in winter.
3.Guangzhou has more rain than Urbana.
Supporting detail:Guangzhou is near the South China Sea,while Urbana is in the middle of the North American continent.
4.The sun in too shiny to stay under it in Guangzhou.But the sunshine in Urbana is friendly.
Supporting detail:Walking in the warm sun in Urbana,we feel comfortable;however,the sunshine in Guangzhou can even cook an egg!

Again, don't simply say "the sun is too shiny in Guangzhou while the sunshine is friendly in Urbana."
